What are your shipping & handling policies?
We take pride in every piece of award-winning Tillamook Cheese that we make. It’s important to us that your Tillamook Cheese, which is perishable, is shipped with great care. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase or gift; that’s why we developed the following shipping policies:
- Our nominal handling fee per order is the same whether you order one item or one hundred!
- All our cheese items are perishable products and are required to be shipped with a 2-day maximum delivery window. There is an exception for delivery to Oregon and Washington. See “What are your shipping methods” below.
- We want you or your gift recipient to be satisfied with your purchase of Tillamook Cheese. Therefore, due to the perishable nature of our product, we strongly recommend that the purchaser be available the day of delivery to accept the package. If you are sending a gift, we also strongly recommend that you notify the gift recipient that a gift of perishable products is on the way so they can be available to receive it.
- Your package will arrive at the address provided on your order within the stated delivery window. We cannot be responsible for undeliverable or misdirected shipments on any order for which we are given an incomplete or incorrect address. Nor can we be responsible for perishable orders if the recipient is not available to receive the delivery.
- Ground shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is not available on any order.
- We cannot ship perishable products to P.O. Boxes or military addresses (APO or FPO).
- We’re sorry – due to customs regulations of perishable products in most foreign countries, we are unable to ship our cheese internationally.
What are your shipping methods?
- Perishable orders delivered outside of Oregon or Washington require a 2-Day Shipping.
- Perishable orders delivered to Oregon and Washington may use Ground Shipping.
- Orders will arrive within a 1-or 2-day delivery time.
- Perishable orders going to any other state are not eligible for ground shipping.
- All perishable orders have the option to expedite delivery using 1-Day Express Shipping.
- Non-perishable orders may use Ground Shipping.
- All non-perishable orders have the option to expedite delivery using 2-Day or 1-Day Express Shipping.

What is your return policy?
Perishable Items:
Satisfaction with your purchase or gift of Tillamook Cheese is our primary goal. If you are not delighted with your purchase or gift, simply notify us within 7 days of receipt and we'll make it right with either a replacement item or a full refund of the item(s) purchased (less shipping) —whichever you prefer.
Non-Perishable Items:
We are happy to refund or exchange non-perishable item(s) purchased (less shipping) so long as the item(s) is returned in it’s original packaging and apparel has not been washed.
If you should need to return an item, please call our Web Store Customer Service department at 1-877-Tilly-4U / (1-877-845-5948) for instructions on how to return an item. Please have your order number available for reference.
Do you take backorders?
- At this time, we regret we cannot offer backorders on any item.
